Team Keen were out in force at the West Wilts hunter trial yesterday with our young horses. We all had a great day. Vodka Luge (pictured) flew around and Lady Loganberry and Total Darkness were in great form too.
Cascadelle ran in the open intermediate at Dauntsey park on Friday where she was super. She was in the lead after the dressage with a lovely test, scoring 27.7. A beautiful double cleared followed. I kept the handbrake on cross country, as I wanted to ensure everything is very firmly established before she has a holiday, and I couldn’t fault her. She finished 10th concluding her season in the best way possible.
I was also over the moon with Highmead Proposition in the intermediate where he finished second. Again, the handbrake was on cross country, but he’s finished the season on a positive note with a stunning double clear.
