The seasons are changing which means warmer clothes and waterproofs will soon be the order of the day. I’m so lucky to be sponsored by Mountain Horse and its new autumn winter range is fantastic.
Mountain Horse also sells some tried and trusted classics that are set to be around for years and they include the Amber jacket.
When riding several horses a day in all weathers one of the most important things is a waterproof jacket and the Amber jacket (RRP £199) is perfect. It’s actually proved a staple part of my riding wardrobe this summer as we’ve had a fair few rainy days so it’s been well and truly put to the test.
Waterproof jackets that are breathable and don’t inhibit movement while you are riding a horse are an absolute godsend and the Mountain Horse’s Amber jacket ticks every box. I also love that it looks so stylish too as its cut beautifully and is very flattering.
This jacket is a real workhorse that will last for years. It’s great for riding and on the yard, and its refined enough to wear as a casual jacket. It also washes superbly too. With regards to sizing, I’d say its true to size too.
If you want to add an Amber jacket to your winter wardrobe, just Google Mountain Horse Amber and plenty of options will appear on line.
I have the navy jacket, but its also available in black/grey and green/olive.
