Great weekend at Withington Horse Trials with two lovely horses both owned by Total Equestrian Construction.
On Saturday Total Belief (April) was in the Advanced class – her first run at this level this season. What an awesome mare she is, doing a smart test for 31 (even with me forgetting which way I was meant to turn at the end of the centre line ?♀️) and then jumped her socks of for an epic double clear with some time. We ended the day in 5th place – I was so pleased with her, it’s always special to ride one at this level and having bred her it’s lovely to have taken her all the way through. Can’t wait for the rest of the season with her ?
It was then the turn of Quintessential in the Novice class on Sunday. Again she put on a great performance for a 27.5 dressage and a lovely double clear, adding some time faults to her score to finish just outside the top 10. But she is already feeling nice and confident at this level which is promising – an exciting 6YO ?
