It was great to be at a nice local event over the weekend with two of our lovely home-breds Total Miracle (Leo) and Quintessential III (Chilli). Both owned by Total Equestrian.
Leo was participating in his first ever BE90 event, which is a huge milestone when you have known them since birth! I have always loved this horse so was thrilled that he took to eventing like a duck to water. He did a sweet test for a first timer (34.3) followed up by a clear show-jumping and steady easy clear cross country. I could not have asked for more and we are all really excited to have another Total horse out competing.
Chilli is just getting better and better every time out. Not to be outdone by Leo, she did a lovely 29.5 dressage and then a super easy double clear for 9th – her first BE placing. She is now heading to 5yr old classes which I hope we can do well in as she is a lovely mare.
A great day with the young ones and cannot wait to keep on going with them. Credit to Team Keen for all they have done to get these home-breds out eventing and for how amazing they look when competing.
