Our latest event was Tweseldown with two young homebreds.
First up was 6YO Quintessential in the Novice. Her test was super and right up there in terms of scoring. In the showjumping we had an annoying pole but a good round. Then onto the cross country, where I felt she was going better than ever, only to have a run out at an angled trakenher! She went over it fine 2nd time – but it was an annoying mistake. However, on reflection she is still relatively new to this level and we think it just caught her by surprise, one of those things.
Total Freedom, was a little star again doing a 29.8 dressage and a super easy double clear, with just a couple of time faults pushing us out of the top 10. Really pleased with how she is going ??
