The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials came to an abrupt end when I parted company with Derby at the Cottesmore Leap (Horse and Hound Blog Sep 6). But the outcome has been incredible with so many emails, texts and phone calls from people commenting on how well we were going up until that point. It really means everything to me when people take the time to get in touch. Derby was flying and was wonderful through all the technical combinations where he was foot perfect. We’ve since had some very exciting news and now need to make some decisions over the next day or two.
