Lola (Cascadelle) was a superstar at Waregem in Belgium where she won the CIC* from 109 starters. It was her second one star win in succession, as she also won at Gatcombe International. For a six-year-old to achieve this is quite some achievement and I am so proud of her. She has now earned herself a well deserverd holiday.
In the CIC3* Derby (Wellshead Fare Oppostion) did a really good dressage and then jumped a super clear showjumping and was in 12th place before the cross country. We were having a terrific time together until fence 19, the Sunken Road, where he just left a leg and I went out the side door. It was bitterly disappointing and he was flying up until this point.
Jake (Highmead Proposition) was also really super at his first one star, scoring a respectable mark in the dressage and jumping a double clear, I am so pleased with this horse who has progressed rapidly this season since I obtained him at the beginning of the year.
