Derby is a total star who is just coming to the top of his game. We bought him as a four-year-old from Sue Lanz and since then he has progressed through the grades. He is extremely good across country and has lovely movement on the flat. His trainable brain together with his talent means he has the potential to become world class and he has been on the Equine Pathway through his career.In 2015 he finished in the top 20 at Luhmuhlen. Derby’s results are here.

Lola, as we call her, was bought in Wales as a three-year-old and is showing a huge amount of talent. In 2015 she won back to back CIC*s at Gatcombe and Waregem as well as scoring many other good results. Lola’s results are here.

Our second homebred, we hope she has now stopped growing. She is very smart and incredibly balanced for her age and size. She is careful but bold jumping and showing great trainability. She stepped up to intermediate this year, and has so far posted three double clears from three runs. Her results can be viewed here.

We think he is the best we have bred so far. He is beautiful, very gentle, good natured and moves like a dream.He’s been schooling across country and jumping small rounds of showjumps and will spend this winter furthering his education.He’s also enjoyed some days hunting with the Avon Vale.

Bred to event, this athletic chap is by the renowned Selle Francais show-jumping stallion Harlequin du Carel, out of a Clover Hill mare.

Having been lightly hunted in Ireland, he was schooled and worked into shape at Chavara, his home in South Devon, where he displayed an impressive and careful technique over jumps. In 2011 he started his eventing career, supplemented with a few BSJA show-jumping competitions, and qualified for the Lycetts British Eventing Young Horse Championships as a 5 YO.

He continued with his good form in 2012, jumping double clear in all competitions and was placed on British Eventing’s World Class Equestrian Pathway programme.

In 2013 he competed at the World Young Horse Championships at Le Lion, in France finishing 19th overall.
Harley joined Coral Keen Eventing in June 2016 and the new combination had a winning start at Bicton Arena where they headed the open novice on July 9.
