Wellshead Fare Opposition

Sire: Fleetwood Opposition

Dam: Foxy Fare

Level: Four Star/Advanced

Owner: Total Equestrian Construction

Derby and I have progressed right the way through to 4* level together, with two top 20 finishes at Luhmuhlen. We have represented Team GB at three Nation Cup events, Waregem in 2015, Houghton Hall in 2016 & Strzegom in 2018. During the 2018 season, Derby suffered a re-occurring foot injury and is now retired from top level eventing, but we will look to have some fun doing some show-jumping and dressage with him in the future.

Our second homebred, a lovely big mare. 2018 has been fantastic with April. At the start of the season she had three top 10 placings at 2* level. We have then successfully progressed up to advance and she went really well at Blenheim in the CIC*** 8/9yr old class. We are all really excited about her future.

Cascadelle

Sire: Classic Jean

Dam: Escarda

Foaled: 2009

Level: Two Star

Owner: Total Equestrian Construction

Lola, as we call her, was bought in Wales as a three-year-old and showed a huge amount of talent as a young horse winning two CIC* in 2015 and a intermediate in 2016. Sadly in 2018 she sustained an injury which rules her out of eventing again. A huge shame, but she will now focus purely on dressage.

Ted is maturing into a really smart event horse. He has all the credentials and looks the part. The beginning of 2018 saw him post four top 10 results at novice level and he then went on to be 6th in the big CCI* class at Hartpury.

Quintessential III

Sire: Quaid I

Dam: Escarda

Foaled: 2013

Level: BE100/ 5yr old classes

Owner: Total Equestrian Construction

Chilli was bought as a youngster, from the same place as Cascadelle and is out of the same mare. 2018 has been her first year out eventing and she has been brilliant. Early on in the season she achieved her major aim – to qualify for the 5 year old championships at Tweseldown. Since then she has jumped 7 double clears on the trot, with a win at Firle and to top it off 7th place at Osberton National 5 year old Championships. A hugely exciting mare who loves eventing and is a great prospect.

We think Leo is the best we have bred so far. He is beautiful, very gentle, good natured and moves like a dream. He has had a great first season eventing in 2018, learning the game and proving to be so talented and willing. Lots to look forward to with him!

Midnight Chill

Sire: Chillout

Dam: Jimmy’s Wish

Foaled: 2012

Level: Novice

Owner: Clare White

A really nice young horse with a great brain. He has had a solid 2018 season with many top 10 placings at novice level. He did his first CIC* at Gatcombe in September and jumped a super double clear finishing in the top 20. He then went onto jump another double clear in the 6 year old Championships at Osberton. The plan was always to produce him up to 1* level for his owner Claire White and she will now take back to ride. We are looking forward to supporting them out eventing in 2019.

Troja Queen

Sire: My o My

Dam: Ballydunne Violey

Foaled: 2006

Level: Novice

Owner: Giessler family

A cracking mare that I am riding for the Giessler family. We have had a solid 2018 season at novice level, with her dressage and show-jumping improving all the time. She is a cross-country machine and has giving me some brilliant rounds.

Total Freedom

Another homebred mare, Junno, who is showing great promise as a four year old. The whole team absolutely adore her as she has a fantastic nature and super willing attitude. She has been very easy to produce so far and really enjoys her work. We are all looking forward to getting her out eventing as a 5 year old.

Leaping Lord

Sire: Loxley 29

Dam: Willow Gale

Foaled: 2009

Level: Novice/Intermediate

Owner: Margaret Cuff

A new ride for the end of 2018. We have had a few good runs and are starting to get to know each other, in preparation for next season. We finished up 2018 with a great double clear in the CIC* at Bicton.

Barrison

Sire: Baryshinkov

Dam: Good Skills

Foaled: 2007

Level: Novice

Owner: Margaret Cuff

A lovely thoroughbred also owned by Margaret. We had a brilliant start together, winning our first event at Sapey this autumn. I am looking forward to doing more with him and hopefully we have started as we mean to go on!
