We had a great start to the season at Tweseldown where I ran Cascadelle, Total Belief (pictured) and High Mead Opposition.
Cascadelle ran in the open intermediate and produced a superb double clear but I kept the hand brake on across country as we are thinking of the bigger picture and there’s a long season ahead of us. I am planning to run her at Belton park in the CIC2* and this was the perfect start.
Total Belief also produced an immaculate double clear but again, we took a steady approach cross country, ensuring everything is firmly established for an exciting season ahead.
I was so proud of High Mead Oppostion who only started eventing two years ago. A beautiful dressage test put him into the lead in his intermediate section, he had an unlucky couple of poles, and was stunning across country where we circled coming out of the water, as he fell onto his knees when we hit a soft spot.
This weekend we head to Aldon International with Ted, April and Jake.
