We made the trip down to East Sussex with three young horses for Firle Horse Trials. It was well worth the trip! With all of them finishing in the top 10 and jumping fantastic double clears.
Total Miracle really impressed me, as he is continually improving and always willing to learn. He did a sweet test and followed it up with his first double clear at this level to finish in 9th place. So much to look forward to with him. Watch his dressage test and show-jumping.
Midnight Chill owned by Clare White was running in the novice and followed up his consistent form to do another classy double clear for 6th place. He feels really great and on track for his season aim, which is Osberton 6 year old championships at the end of September. Watch his round here: show-jumping
Then onto Quintessential III, who is turning into a real pro despite her age. Her dressage test was lovely and she led the section on a score of 26. We then followed this up with a double clear to finish on this mark and take the win. I was so pleased with her, she really deserved this result. Bring on Osberton 5 year old championships!

It was great to also have our working pupils Leah and Alice competing. They put in solid performances and both showed real horsemanship. So all in all a successful and enjoyable trip out for Team Keen, with lots to look forward to for the rest of this season and beyond.
