Coral Keen is an accomplished international event rider and UKCC Level 3 BE Accredited Coach. She made her five star debut at Land Rover Burghley in 2014 riding Wellshead Fare Opposition. In 2016, the same combination finished 15th at Luhmuhlen CCI4*. She has represented Great Britain on three Nations Cups team at Waregem in 2015, Houghton Hall in 2016.
She is also in demand as a trainer and mentor of riders of all levels, from Pony Club to those climbing the eventing ladder, and provides invaluable advice through her regular columns for leading on-line equestrian magazine Horse and Hound. Do get in touch if you’d like a lesson with Coral, she can travel to you and runs many clinics at venues throughout the year.
For the past ten years Coral has been joint head of the Total horse breeding program. This opportunity saw her fully involved in all facets from stallion selection to mare preparation, foaling, breaking and young horse education. Under her careful guidance, the progeny of this program are now out and competing successfully, with the eldest currently at Advanced level.
During the winter, Coral spends much of her time show jumping, and it is no surprise that she is equally adept at this discipline as her great aunt is the legendary Marion Mould who rode the diminutive pony Stroller to so many international successes.
Coral’s consistent results speak for themselves as she carefully produces her horses, leaving no stone unturned in her quest to ensure they are given the best possible chance to succeed with their competition careers.
